Using your Resume Information packet, answer the following questions in complete sentences on your own blog. This will help us get a basic background knowledge of resumes before we create our own. You can utilize Chapter 14 in your textbook as well to help along the way.
1. How is a resume like a school paper?
2. How can an email address on your resume get you in trouble? Give an example of a good vs bad email address?
3. What is the purpose of an "objective" and why might it be a good idea in your situation?
4. What is the purpose of a summary? What are some aspects that separate a good vs bad summary?
5. What should be included in your "Experience Section"? What might you want to include since you are young and might not have a lot of experience yet?
6. What are some differences between sharing your education experience, good vs bad details?
7. Off the top of your head, who are some references that you might want to get information from to include on your resume?
After you have posted the responses to the above questions, you will now start to create your own resume using the templates and sheets given.
